I am curious, have you ever been able to run Fortnite with this CPU? Cannot boot the game and most online forums posters with the same CPU are having the same issue. I have tried updating the BIOS but I think the new Unreal Engine might not support the 1090T anymore.

Great video! Fun to see what this little Ryzen can do in a use-case it wasn't really meant for. I worked at a pc repair shop for years and picked the 1200 for my test bench. Didn't need anything particularly fast, just needed a modern platform and a good-enough CPU to use for data transfers, disk clones, etc. We had a cheaper 2nd test bench with an Athlon 200 GE. Both chips felt fast for the low price!

Just bought one for $80 on ebay, and got a used i5 9600k pc without a gpu or hard drive for $200. The pc is up and running now with an old laptop ssd from my closet. Cant wait for my package to arrive.

imo worth it, cause this is a huge upgrade compared to what most ppl pair the i5 3470s with (like a 1050 or 1650 or 570). This is still a huge jump, and you dont have to worry about changing the PSU or Temps and Power cause the 3050 (even though its the slowest in the RTX series) is very low end friendly. With good temps and minimal power needed, like just a direct upgrade only needing the gpu to be replaced.

The PSU alone was worth the 50$

Your 5700 is not running at its full potential. My 5700 draws at least 140w when maxing out.
